PTZ Cameras stands for pan, tilt, and zoom. This refers to the capabilities of automated cameras and video recorders. Essentially, a PTZ camera is set in a particular place, but has the ability to turn, usually in a complete circle, tilt at different angles both up and down, and zoom in on particular objects.
PTZ cameras are typically used in a setting where someone can control it either through a computer or with a joystick. The camera can be set on a rotating tour through the preset tour features.

These cameras have the capability to be set on multiple custom tours to scan the entire property and have the ability to track movement and focus in on and follow the object . You will also have the capability to control the camera remotely (move around) remotely from any computer or smartphone.
SMART TRACKING
This helps users observe close-up detail of distant objects and individuals. This can be particularly beneficial in environments where tracking and zooming are paramount (such as airports, highways, stadiums, and scenic sites).
An additional benefit offered by these two is “smart” features. Engineered with a smart tracking function, both domes can detect any progressively moving object and follow it within the camera’s area of coverage without fault.
Facial detection is further supported to ensure that an individual’s face is present in the picture during tracking. A smart defog feature is also incorporated to help improve the clarity of images captured in poor weather conditions, such as rain or fog; and smart IR technology is added to address the problem of over-exposure of IR LED’s at the center of images.
Furthermore, another interesting feature is ROI (Region of Interest) encoding. This allows capture high resolution images of key information such as license plates and facial detection, and also decreases non-ROI’s image quality to save on overall bandwidth the process starts over again.
