Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CCTV Technician to install, maintain, and repair CCTV systems on a contract basis. The role is ideal for technicians seeking flexible, part-time work while gaining experience with modern security technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and configure CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and other surveillance equipment.
- Conduct site surveys to determine optimal camera placement.
- Test, troubleshoot, and repair CCTV systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on existing installations.
- Prepare detailed service reports and educate clients on system usage.
Requirements:
- Certificate or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT, or related field.
- Proven experience installing and maintaining CCTV systems.
- Knowledge of network configurations and IP-based surveillance is an advantage.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Own transport and a valid driver’s license is preferred.
