Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hotel Door Access Control Installation Technician to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining RFID-based hotel lock systems and access control solutions.
This role is ideal for a technician with hands-on experience in smart hotel locking systems and a strong understanding of both wired and wireless installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site surveys in hotels and hospitality facilities to assess door access control requirements.
- Install contactless RFID hotel door lock systems with smart tap card access.
- Configure and integrate hotel management software systems for access control and guest management.
- Install and program RF card systems, including Temic cards, M1 cards, and ultra-light cards.
- Set up and test smart access hotel lock systems to ensure proper functionality and security.
- Install and configure energy saver systems compatible with hotel key cards.
- Program access levels, including guest cards, staff cards, and master access controls.
- Configure override computer keys and emergency access systems.
- Install personalized locking systems, cylinders, and cylinder covers.
- Perform both wireless and wired door access control installations.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain existing hotel lock and access control systems.
- Provide training to hotel staff on system usage and basic troubleshooting.
- Prepare installation reports and system documentation.
Requirements:
- Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, ICT, or a related field.
- Proven experience in installing hotel door lock systems or access control systems.
- Strong knowledge of RFID technology and smart card systems.
- Experience with hotel management software integration is an added advantage.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle on-site installations professionally.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
